American Ballet Theatre (ABT) is renowned for its world-class dancers of exceptional skill, artistry, and personality. As America’s National Ballet Company, it embodies a unique aesthetic based on the values of versatility and dynamic harmony. Under Artistic Director Susan Jaffe, the spirit of originality and innovation has intensified, aligning with the present state of both the art form and American society.

The original works of ABT have shaped the history and trajectory of dance in the 85 years since the Company’s inception. This coming April in Seoul, iconic moments of the American dance scene, of which ABT is a crucial part, will be presented on stage. Ranging from George Balanchine, the most influential choreographer of the 20th century, to contemporary visionaries Twyla Tharp, Alexei Ratmansky, Kyle Abraham, and Gemma Bond, these performances will showcase ballets of an exciting and wide-ranging variety of classic, modern and contemporary styles.
